I miss Fort Dells so much. Especially now that my son is the age I used to go and enjoy it. If I could recreate one thing from my childhood, I would rebuild Fort Dells. I look back at the pictures from there and miss it so much. Even after all this time, it breaks my heart to drive by there.

I visited Fort Dells as a child and miss very much to this day. I have one of the good luck coins plus pictures from the past.

Fort Dells was always the highlight of our family vacations to the Dells. I sure wish it was still there. Too bad there couldn't at least be a museum dedicated to the iconic Dells attraction.

I only vaguely remember going as a very small child, but I Remember the jail cell. My parents took their honeymoon in the dells and they have quite a few pictures of their time at the Fort.

WOW...What a great page to find. Now I can show my kids what I was talking about. Black Bart, the badge you could buy at the gift shop and the jail cell my mom always wanted to get my brother and I to stand in for a Kodak moment. Thanks for the great trip down memory lane.
