Fort Dells was a historical theme park created in the image of "Frontierland' at Disneyland. The emphasis being more on the 'fort' Fort Dells incorporated live shows and visitor interaction with staff. This combination produced a widely popular entertainment experience. This experience is still sought out today by those who came to Fort Dells as children and may now be grandparents. Fort Dells made an impression on visitors comparable only to premier attractions such as Disneyland.
